what is aave?

aave, otherwise known as african american vernacular language, is a different version of english black people usually speak in. it was made for black people, and black people only. no nb (non black) person should ever use this, and i explain why here --->

why can i not use aave if im not black?

you shouldn't use aave if you're not a black person because when us black people used it, we got called ghetto, we got called the n word, we were made fools of. its entirely disrespectful and maybe even racist to use aave after what we were put through because of it. non black people usually use it to seem more "black" or "ghetto", which is VERY disrespectful. plus, they end up using it wrong anyways, making fools of themselves too. most of the black community agrees that nb people need to stop this bs, and i agree with that too. dont use aave unless its your place.
